فى إطار توجيهات السيد الرئيس / عبد الفتاح السيسى رئيس الجمهورية القائد الأعلى للقوات المسلحة بشأن تعاون القوات المسلحة مع كافة أجهزة الدولة لمجابهة خطر فيروس ( كورونا ) المستجد وإتخاذ كافة الإجراءات التى تكفل سلامة ووقاية أفراد الشعب المصرى .
أصدر الفريق أول / محمد زكى القائد العام للقوات المسلحة وزير الدفاع والإنتاج الحربى أوامره لإدارة الحرب الكيميائية للقوات المسلحة بإتخاذ كافة الإجراءات الإحترازية لمواجهة فيروس ( كورونا ) من خلال خطة تشمل الجامعات والمدارس وبعض المنشآت التى يتردد عليها أعداد كبيرة من المواطنين ، بدأت الخطة بتطهير وتعقيم الأماكن الإدارية والشوارع الداخلية والقاعات الدراسية والمدرجات والمعامل بجامعتى عين شمس والأزهر .
وقامت إدارة الحرب الكيميائية بدفع عربات التعقيم المتحركة والتطهير الثقيلة وأطقم التطهير المحمولة لإجراء التعقيم والتطهير اللازم بما يحقق ضمان سلامة وأمان الطلاب وأعضاء هيئة التدريس من إحتماليات الإصابة بأى عدوى تنفسية .
وأشاد الدكتور / خالد عبد الغفار وزير التعليم العالى والبحث العلمى بالدور الفعال الذى تقوم به القوات المسلحة لمعاونة أجهزة الدولة فى الإجراءات الوقائية لمجابهة الفيروس مشيداً بما لمسه من تعاون فعال ودقة فى الأداء من الأطقم المكلفة بتنفيذ المهام المكلفين بها .
وأكد الدكتور / محمود المتينى رئيس جامعة عين شمس أن القوات المسلحة كعادتها دائماً تبادر بتقديم الدعم الكامل فى مواجهة الأزمات التى تواجه الدولة ، فيما أكد الدكتور / محمد المحرصاوى رئيس جامعة الأزهر أن الجامعة تثمن جهود القوات المسلحة فى تقديم الدعم العاجل والمبادرة بعملية التطهير والتعقيم داخل الجامعة حرصاً على سلامة الطلاب وأعضاء هيئة التدريس .
حيث أظهرت عناصر القوات المسلحة خلال عمليات التطهير والتعقيم مدى ما يتمتعون به من كفاءة وإحترافية وإستعداد عالى لتنفيذ كافة المهام على أكمل وجه وبذل الجهد من أجل صحة وسلامة شعب مصر العظيم …هذا نقلا عن الجهات الرسمية
The Armed Forces cooperate with the state bodies to implement all preventive and precautionary measures to combat the Corona virus

Within the framework of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, that the Armed Forces cooperate with all state bodies to confront the emerging threat of the Corona virus and take all measures to ensure the safety and protection of the Egyptian people.
General/ Mohamed Zaki, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, instructed the Department of Chemical Warfare of the Armed Forces to take all precautionary measures to confront the Corona virus through a plan that includes universities, schools, and some facilities frequented by large numbers of citizens. The plan began by purifying and sterilizing administrative places the internal streets, classrooms, terraces, and laboratories of Ain Shams and Al-Azhar universities.
The Chemical Warfare Department dispatched mobile sterilization vehicles, heavy disinfection and portable disinfection kits to perform the necessary sterilization and disinfection in order to ensure the safety and security of students and faculty staff from the possibility of any respiratory infection.
Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, praised the effectiveness of the Armed Forces in assisting state bodies in the preventive measures to confront the virus, praising the effective cooperation and accuracy in the performance of the assigned staff to carry out the tasks assigned to them.
Dr. Mahmoud Al-Matini, director of Ain Shams University, stressed that the Armed Forces, as usual are initiating full support in facing crises facing the state, while Dr. Mohamed Al-Mahsrawi, director of Al-Azhar University, stressed that the university appreciates the efforts of the Armed Forces to provide urgent support and initiate the process of disinfection and sterilization within the university in order to make sure of the safety of students and faculty staff.
As the elements of the Armed Forces during the cleansing and sterilization operations showed the extent of their efficiency, professionalism and high preparedness to execute all tasks to the fullest extent and make all the needed effort for the health and safety of the great people of Egypt.
